In 2019, a beloved member of Mikesville Presbyterian Church (MPC) passed away. “Miss Marge’ had been an active member of the church since she was a little girl . She enjoyed many years worshiping in the pews of the small church situated at the edge of her childhood home. In her personal life, she was an educator in the public school system for over 38 years. In order to honor “Miss Marge,” the Mikesville Presbyterian Church Fund was established to honor her and the contributions she made to her church, community and students. The fund now continues to honor her and a number of other distinguished educators at MPC that have helped shape the surrounding communities. The mission of the fund was to provide an annual college level scholarship to young adults associate with Mikesville Presbyterian Church .
